Tendonitis
Tendinitis is defined as an inflammation or irritation of the tendon. Tendinitis is often caused by manual labor. Data entry workers, landscapers, construction workers, cleaning and janitorial staff are among those who frequently suffer from tendinitis.
Treatment from tendinitis varies but generally includes time off of work and the usage of anti-inflammatory painkillers, cortisone injections, antibiotics, and sometimes surgery.
Employers are responsible for implementing and enforcing health and safety guidelines to reduce the likelihood of accident or injury. If your employer failed to maintain a reasonably safe operation you may be entitled to seek compensation.
