Mr. Richer has been with the firm since 1999. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Richer had 14 years experience as a civil and criminal litigator. He had extensive experience in the areas of debtor/creditor law, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal defense. Since joining the firm, Mr. Richer has prosecuted personal injury cases to trial, in both state and federal courts, and has taken verdicts in at least thirteen different counties across the state. He has briefed and argued appeals in the Appellate Division of New York State Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals of the State of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Mr. Richer has represented clients injured, and the families of those killed, in motor vehicle accidents, fall downs due to dangerous and defective conditions, dog bites and construction site accidents. He presently focuses his practice on complex cases involving drug defects, industrial injuries and product liability. As a member of the firm’s mass tort litigation department, Mr. Richer has represented clients in personal injury litigations involving the drugs Neurontin, Topamax, Avandia and Zyprexa.

He is presently the firm’s lead trial attorney in mass tort litigations involving Hormone Replacement Therapy and breast cancer. Mr. Richer was a member of the firm’s trial team which took a verdict in excess of $34 million in November of 2009 in Philadelphia, PA on behalf of a woman from Illinois whose claim alleged that her use of hormone replacement drugs caused her breast cancer.

Married with two children, Mr. Richer understands the terrible impact injury and death can have on the victims, their families and our community. He considers it a privilege to be able to stand up for his clients.
